Andru Prescod
Andru.prescod@ee.doe.govAndru Prescod is a technical manager in the Solar Technologies Office at the U.S. Department of Energy and Technical Director, Energy at ManTech International. He has been working at ManTech since 2013. Prior to ManTech he spent many years working at Corning Incorporated (a glass and ceramics company) in a variety of roles including measurements and controls, market analysis, business strategy and business development. His specialties include quantum optics, non-imaging optics and photonics.
David Haas
david.haas@ee.doe.govDavid Haas joined the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) in April 2022 as a technical manager on the concentrating solar-thermal power (CSP) team. David started his solar energy career working as the Director of Heliostats for Solar Reserve in 2017. He brings a combination of aerospace and energy leadership to the CSP team. His 35 years of experience building highly reliable space vehicles, while also consulting in the energy field for 19 years, helps David advise DOE on today’s solar energy challenges.
Board of Advisors
The role of the Board of Advisors through regular meetings and interactions with the leadership team is to:
- Provide knowledge base of existing industrial development and scientific progress
- Assist with the early development and implementation of consortium roadmap and RFPs, subject to COI procedures
- Promote collaborations through multiorganization projects
- Provide feedback to ensure work performed under the consortium maintains industrial relevance
